The Home blessing silver icon, a special gift of superior quality made in Italy. Also called the Mother of God Icon Abbot Gerontissa, the icon signifies abundance, well-being and happiness. It has its origins in Greece, at the Pantocrator monastery, where in difficult times the vessels were filled with oil following intense prayers to the Mother of God. This is represented in the icon by the vessel from which the oil is poured. It is said that in any house it is good to find this icon. Made of metal plated with pure silver, applied on a wooden base. It can be placed on the shelf or bedside table with the support leg, but it can also be hung on the wall. The back can be customized by applying a plate engraved with the requested message.
